No expiration date. No inactivity, dormancy, or service fees — ever.
Purchases open as soon as card payments are switched on. Nothing is charged and no credit is issued today.
5–500 per purchase. Credit is sold by Appreciate and honored by Appreciate.
Appreciate isn't a bank and isn't a money transmitter. Credit is prepaid value for our own products only, which is what keeps it out of money-transmission territory. Person-to-person appreciation always runs through your own payment app — Venmo, Cash App, PayPal — and never through a balance we hold on your behalf.
Credit isn't redeemable for cash except where state law requires cash redemption of a small remaining balance — email us and we'll handle it. Unspent credit remains yours and is treated as a liability we owe you, subject to state unclaimed-property rules. Not a gift card program, not a deposit account, not FDIC-insured.
